Choosing the crane
3 Families Cover the Whole Range.
Most of the people we quote are running a project, not specifying machinery. The choice is more straightforward than the terminology suggests — 1 question sorts each family from the next.
Flat-Top
12 models, from the R90 to the R4300. ZOOMLION build the R series on their round tenon mast section, with all-pin connections, anti-collision and digital control against overload, and remote monitoring of the crane's operating status.
Topless Hydraulic Luffing Jib
6 models, RL90 to RL315. ZOOMLION publish the RL series in two working modes, luffing and flat-top, with a maximum luffing angle of 87°, and the jib raised on a hydraulic cylinder instead of an A-frame and rope-pulley system.
Construction Hoist
14 SC series configurations listed for North America, single and double cage, with rated speeds from 40 to 90 m a minute.
The RL series
One Machine, Two Working Modes.
ZOOMLION publish the RL series in a luffing mode and a flat-top mode, and print a load chart for each. The jib is raised on a hydraulic cylinder: against a conventional luffing jib crane, ZOOMLION state that the A-frame, the luffing mechanism and the rope-pulley system are not required.
- Two Working Modes
ZOOMLION give load charts for luffing mode without the trolley, luffing mode with the trolley, and trolleying mode with the jib horizontal. The maximum luffing angle is 87°.
- Topless
Topless Hydraulic Luffing Jib Crane is ZOOMLION's own name for the family. They rate it at 90 to 315 tonne-metres, and give an out-of-service jib parking radius of 15 m on a short counter jib.
- No A-Frame or Rope-Pulley System
ZOOMLION: against a traditional luffing jib crane, the A-frame, luffing mechanism and rope-pulley system are not required. They state that erection and dismantling efficiency is increased by 50%, and that each jib section can be taken off in the air.
- Fewer Containers
Fewer types of part, lighter and smaller. ZOOMLION state that against a traditional luffing jib crane, one 40 ft high-cube container is saved on the upper part.

Topless Hydraulic Luffing Jib Cranes.
6 machines, from the RL90 at 6 tonnes to the RL315 at 25. ZOOMLION rate the series at 90 to 315 tonne-metres and publish it in two working modes.
Where two maximum loads are shown, ZOOMLION list the model in 2 builds — their RL165 sheet names them RL205-10/12 and RL250-12/16.

Jib 30 to 60 m. Luffs 10° to 87° on a hydraulic cylinder. Counter-jib ballast 30 t at every jib length. QnQ's own RL250-16RB is the Canadian-specification build: 480 V, 60 Hz supply, 75 kW hoist to 368 m a minute at single fall, 45 kW luffing cylinder (ZOOMLION manual RL250-16RB-138Z, June 2025).

Jib 30 to 50 m. Luffs 10° to 87° in 2 minutes on a 30 kW cylinder, and parks out of service at 10 m, 15 m or 60°. 380 V supply, 83.5 kW installed. Hoist to 95 m a minute. Counter-jib ballast 24 t at every jib length.

The range — two of three
Flat-Top Tower Cranes.
12 machines, from the R90 at 5 tonnes to the R4300 at 200. ZOOMLION build the R series on their round tenon mast section and quote a thirty-year life for the upper and lower structure and the jibs.
Where two maximum loads are shown, ZOOMLION list the model in 2 builds — their R series brochure names them separately, for example R275-10RB and R275-12RB, with different hoist drum capacities. Free-standing height is ZOOMLION's figure for an outrigger base and, where a second figure follows, for a chassis base.

Construction Hoists.
14 configurations of the SC series listed for North America, single and double cage, with rated speeds from 40 to 90 m a minute and drive motors from 11 kW upward. The configuration code is ZOOMLION's own.
Several machines are catalogued in more than 1 configuration. Where a model name repeats, the configuration code is what separates the 2 builds.
ZOOMLION's construction hoist brochure gives a rated load of 400 kg for the SC40BD and 2,000 kg to 3,200 kg a cage for the SC200 and SC320 machines, and maximum installation heights from 200 m to 500 m depending on the configuration. It is on this page to download.

Do you sell cranes as well as rent them?
Both. New or used, lease or purchase. Tell us the job and we will tell you which makes more sense for you — sometimes that answer is to rent.
What does sole distributor actually mean for me?
The ZOOMLION tower crane range comes into Canada through us. You are dealing with the people who supply the machine rather than a reseller in between, so the price, the lead time and the support after delivery all come from one place.
Why ZOOMLION rather than a name I already know?
ZOOMLION state that they have ranked first in the global tower crane manufacturers list for many consecutive years, and that they are the global leader in brand value, market share and sales revenue. Their range runs to the R20000-720, which they describe as the world's largest tower crane. The range listed for North America runs from the R90 flat-top at 5 tonnes up to the R4300 at 200 tonnes.
Where do the figures on this page come from?
ZOOMLION. Every figure is taken from their North American catalogue or from their own spec sheets and brochures, and those documents are on this page for you to download. Where two ZOOMLION documents give different figures for the same machine, we confirm it with them before quoting rather than choosing one.
What happens after the invoice?
We look after the machine once it is on your site. 20 years in this industry and our name rides on every unit we supply — that is the whole reason we are careful about what we sell.
Do you only do tower cranes?
Tower cranes are what we hold the Canadian distributorship for, and they are the core of what we do. We supply the rest of the ZOOMLION line as well — mobile elevating work platforms, earthmoving, mobile and crawler cranes, concrete equipment and forklifts. If the job needs a machine we do not have listed, we will source it.
