What does the operator actually get?
A live view of the hook and the load on a monitor in the cab, with 22x optical zoom worked from a foot pedal or remote. On a blind lift that is the difference between placing a load and guessing at radio instructions.
Will it survive a winter at height?
It is built for it: IP67 sealed, nitrogen filled so it does not fog internally through freeze and thaw, lens heating, and rated from −30 to +65 °C. Consumer cameras mist up inside within a season.
Does power have to be run up the tower?
Not necessarily — there is a solar option, which is usually the cheaper answer once you price running a supply up a mast.
