What the App Is
The QnQ Solutions app is the operations office for QnQ Solutions Ltd — tower crane rental, erection, dismantling and maintenance in British Columbia. It is used by QnQ’s own staff, behind a sign-in.
What It Stores
The app keeps the records the business needs to run: crane details, maintenance schedules and completed work, hour-meter readings, site and customer records, invoices, and photographs of machines taken by our staff. Sign-in uses a PIN (stored only as a salted hash — never the PIN itself) and, where the user turns it on, a fingerprint credential that never leaves their device.
What It Does Not Do
No advertising. No analytics trackers. No data is sold, shared with, or passed to any third party for their own use. The app does not read contacts, location, or anything else on the phone beyond what its features plainly need — for example, a photo the user chooses to attach.
Where the Data Lives
Records are stored with our hosting provider (Netlify) and served only to signed-in users over encrypted connections. Nightly copies are kept for backup.
Notifications
If the user turns notifications on, the device’s push service is used to deliver them. Turning them off in the app or in the phone’s settings stops them completely.
Removing Data
To have any record or account removed, contact us and we will do it.
